Job Description:
We are seeking an Associate Project Manager to oversee project management in our fast-paced software development environment. You will collaborate closely with clients and internal teams to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality applications. This role requires strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills to drive project success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders and clients to gather and define project requirements.
- Create and maintain realistic and practical project plans for software development.
- Conduct daily stand-up meetings, sprint demos, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Take ownership of status reporting, risk management, and issue escalation.
- Oversee design architecture, ensuring alignment with user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages team alignment and collaboration.
- Act as a motivator and facilitator, helping team members feel ownership over their work.
- Utilize Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, and Waterfall to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Manage a team of software developers, testers, and designers, ensuring task assignment and grooming.
- Handle multiple projects simultaneously, using innovative management techniques.
- Identify potential risks and issues that may impact project timelines or quality.
- Coach and mentor team members to enhance their skills and project contribution.
- Collaborate with Scrum Masters and Project Managers to ensure deliverables are on track.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle).
- Familiarity with mockups and wireframing processes.
- Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Trello, ClickUp, and Asana.
- Proven experience in team management, including resource allocation and task grooming.
- Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
Experience:
- Minimum 1+ year of experience in a project management role within the software development lifecycle.
Qualifications:
- BS in Software Engineering (BSSE), Computer Science (BSCS), or Information Technology (BSIT).
