Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Odoo Developer with 3+ years of experience to work on a freelance basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining Odoo ERP solutions. You will work closely with the functional consultants to implement and optimize Odoo modules, develop custom features, and provide technical support to ensure seamless ERP system performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop custom modules and features in Odoo to meet client-specific business requirements.
- Customize existing Odoo modules, including Sales, Supply chain, Inventory, Accounting & Finance, Manufacturing, HRMS, CRM, etc.
- Implement Odoo integrations with third-party applications and external systems (API, web services, etc.).
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code for new features and bug fixes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, including performance optimization and error handling.
- Collaborate with functional consultants to ensure that business processes are implemented correctly within Odoo.
- Conduct unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of Odoo modules.
- Provide technical support and maintenance for Odoo implementations, ensuring smooth system operation.
- Assist in data migration, system upgrades, and configuration of Odoo Studio for customization.
- Participate in Odoo version upgrades and new feature rollouts.
- Ensure all customizations align with Odoo best practices and standards.
Skills & Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in Odoo development with strong knowledge of Python, JavaScript, and PostgreSQL.
- Expertise in developing custom Odoo modules, workflows, and reports.
- Strong experience with Odoo’s core modules (Sales, Supply chain, Inventory, CRM, Manufacturing, Accounting, HRMS, etc.).
- Knowledge of Odoo Studio for quick customizations and automated actions.
- Familiarity with Odoo’s ORM (Object-Relational Mapping), API, and web services.
- Experience in version control systems like Git.
- Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery) for frontend customizations.
- Ability to write and optimize SQL queries for PostgreSQL.
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience in integrating Odoo with other software and external systems.
- Knowledge of Linux/Unix server environments is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with functional consultants and clients.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
